Anne is going to especially miss playing with Pepper and Daisy out in the warm California sun. My parents have such a wonderful green lawn to play on. (Our Colorado lawn is still its typical winter yellow.)
The afternoon and evening we all just rested. I must admit, I am growing homesick for my husband and for my normal routine. Visiting and traveling IS fun, but I am anxious to get back to my normal life on Monday.
One of my favorite things at IKEA is the cafeteria. They have the best Swedish meatballs. And, they have some great Swedish food items that you can purchase. I got a couple of jars of lingonberry preserves, which we eat with meatloaf. I also picked up a jar of gooseberry preserves and oat crisps to try.
It was a very full day. Tomorrow we'll definitely need long naps.

These are coffee cup holders and coin purses (for coffee change) for my mom and Aunt Cheryl's birthdays. I got this idea for the coffee cup holders here. I used a Starbucks cardboard holder for my pattern, but I'm still tweaking the pattern a little bit. I used the darkest color for the outsides so coffee drips wouldn't show.
Don't you just love the vintage buttons on this one?
