Scenes from our 4th of July festivities....
We went to the Paris St. Market to browse the vintage goodness. This metal table would be perfect in my diner-decorated basement area. But, I restrained myself...
Anne rode around in the wagon.
I made my first-ever cherry pie to take to a friend's house. I'm not going to lie....it was pretty darn good. There will be more pie baking in my future.
I've recently become intrigued with jello molds. I've collected quite a few from thrift stores over the last year. But this was actually my first attempt at using one. I used this recipe here, minus the fresh fruit.

Love the table. The jello looks very good. I have never had very good luck doing jello molds, so my jello is always kept in a bowl. The pie looks wonderful.

Lovely photos! I love all of the red, white and blue!
Thanks for the link to the market. I am putting the next couple of dates on my calendar and I hope to make it up there to see what's going on. Sounds great!
