Thanks for the comments and emails and prayers. All have been very encouraging. Last weekend I was put on "partial" bed rest, which seemed to halt all contractions. Praise God! So I'm staying off my feet this week as much as possible. The kids and I have headed to my in-laws in the beautiful Rocky Mts. with my sis-in-law. We've been enjoying a relaxing week here. I've been doing some knitting, movie watching and book reading while the fam helps care for the kids.
I'm glad I took my hub's advice and headed out of the house with the kids. It's been excellent to get away from my own space...it's hard to sit on the couch and look around at the clutter, the laundry, the things that need to get done, but can't. My in-laws mountain home is beautiful and relaxing and I am at instant peace when I walk in. A change of scenery as well as some helpful hands with the kids have been such a blessing.
I confess...I'm a do-er. Not a sit-around-and-talker or a sit-around-and-watcher, which means it is very hard for me to be sitting around on my sit-a-upon. It also means I'm horrible admitting and asking for help. The Lord is teaching me a lot through this "resting." My "doing" right now needs to be resting so the Lord can continue knitting baby girl completely together in my belly.
