Getting ready for Thanksgiving? Here's a fun table runner that will add rustic ambiance to any turkey dinner. And your kid can make it!
Supplies:
Burlap, lace, fabric glue, scissors
1. Start by figuring out how long and wide you want your runner. Then, cut it to that size. Burlap is very forgiving--so go ahead and your little sprout cut it by themselves.
2. If you need to, even out the edges by pulling off extra strings and trimming here and there.
3. Apply glue to the edge of runner and then attach lace. Trim off lace to the edge of the burlap. (You can also sew on lace if you prefer.)
Now, just add your centerpiece. Another tutorial for a fall plunder centerpiece coming up soon.

Clever fun craft. I might just have Lexy make one for Thanksgiving dinner.

This is pretty and simple ... and could be used again after Thanksgiving. Thanks!

I really like this. And I have a very crafty boy that would love to make it. And to be honest I would like it for my table :)

I learned a trick to cutting burlap straight=pull out one thread completely and then cut along the open space. I've been using burlap a ton lately for markets. :)
