Beth came downstairs and proudly announced..."Toes! Toes!"
She had gotten my red nail polish off my bathroom counter, opened it and proceeded to give herself a mani-pedi.
I reluctantly carried her back up the stairs, dreading the nail polish spill on carpet.
Beth looks at me and says, " Tru-ble."
Me, "That's right you are not allowed to paint your toes without Mama."
Luckly, she didn't spill any on the carpet. Although yesterday I found some red smudges on the hallway walls.
Beth LOVES her "jamas." I wanted to find her some soft nighties for summer. I looked, and looked, and looked. Everything was made out of the plastic-y polyester stuff. So I found this very simple and FREE tutorial/pattern from Virginia at Gingercakes .
I used a very soft vintage sheet and made my own.
Her baby doll got a matching nightgown.
And another one....made from an vintage embroidered pillowcase.
The pillowcase wasnt' quite long enough so I used some old vintage fabric I picked up.
We celebrated Beth's 2nd birthday a couple weekends ago...ok, like a month ago. I'm behind on my pictures-posting-blogging right now.
I made chocolate creme pie. She got her own mini version and couldn't but help lick the whip cream before the candle was lit.
Beth has been WAY into puppies lately, so I pulled out this puppy skirt I had made for Anne.
We just had immediate family over. It was a relaxing time.
Now she won't have to sneak into my purse for lipstick.
I made her these sweet little puppies as her gift from us.
Happy Birthday, Baby Girl!
We really love Wonder Woman at our house.
We watch a lot of this.
A few weeks ago, we found this vintage PJ set while going through some hand-me-downs at a friend's house. So now we have our own "in-house Wonder Woman."
"What's that? I think I see a villian over there..."
"Let me transform through my magical spin."
"That's right, I've got my eye on you."
Check Check out these shoes--combining my two loves--Converse and Wonder Woman.
And I'm thinking I need to make myself one of these...
