If you're wanting to do some special reading and reflecting during this season of Lent, I recommend:
Bread and Wine: Readings for Lent and Easter.
It's not a Bible study or scripture study, but rather reflections on the season by Christian writers, clergy, artists, etc. Good thought-provoking stuff. A 2-4 page reading per day.
I've not read this one, but it looks really good to me. I enjoy Henri Nouwen.
Show Me the Way: Daily Lenten Readings
If you're looking for books for your kids, here's a post I did last year on kids books that we keep in the Lent basket...
My friend, Kim, was at your MOPS group a few weeks ago and shared with me what you spoke about. I'm so glad she also pointed me to your blog! I have a one year old and love having ideas about how to be intentional and purposeful in raising him. Looking forward to creating a Lent basket. :)
