Remember those paper chains you used to make in grade school to count off the days of school that were left? We used the same concept to help us decorate for St. Patty's Day.
What you need: colored construction paper, scissors and a glue stick.
I pre-cut the strips of paper and then showed Anne how to loop the paper links and glue. Make as many "bows" of color that you want for your rainbow. (You may notice that her links aren't all "round," but it's a kid project, right?)
We hung our rainbow up in the "sky" using push pins and fishing line. Of course, we needed a pot of gold at the end of it... I used an old oatmeal container covered in black construction paper. The cloud at the top was made out of crumpled white tissue paper.
love your ideas and your blog
great job!
