I stumbled upon this news tonight while exploring Beth Moore's blog....a site that I had NEVER been to before. Curious, I clicked on Joanne's blog, and felt an overwhelming feeling of God's grace to pray for this woman. May God draw you close to Him during this time. What an amazing testament to the power of prayer. Joanne, I am praying for you, your family, and friends during this time. God is with you, holding you close to His side.

Lord Jesus, I ask you to heal this woman. She is truly a disciple needed to fight the battle that we are faced with. We thank you for bringing strangers together in the power of prayer for Your Glory.

I do not know sweet Joanne personally, but I have been following her blog. I have family that live in the Denver area, but I am from Dallas, Texas and have been storming the throne of God on her behalf. God is our almighty physician and we put out hope in HIM.

I do not know Toben or Joanne, but am also part of the Living Proof Ministries online community. I have been praying since I first saw the call to prayer.

I pray these are an encouragement:

I have printed her picture to post in my office as a continual reminder to pray for her and her family.

My favorite verse of scripture and I have found it to be true many times. My thoughts and prayers are with Joanne and her family, as well as all of her sweet friends. She is a very blessed woman.


Oh, what a beautiful, beautiful thing it is to witness the workings of the body of Christ over Joanne. I can hardly compose myself enough to type this. Joanne has been such an encouragement to me as I have followed her blog the past few years.

Janna, what a dear, sweet, precious friend you are to Joanne and the family. Will you please add this verse to those that will adorn her recovery room wall.

Hi - I learned of Joanne on Beth Moore's twitter and have been praying. I'm not crafty at all, but my memory verse is one I would like you to print for her. It's a beautiful verse:

"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may aboud in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

I love that - there is always hope in the powerful name of Jesus!

Thank you Janna for your sweet love and being willing to be "our hands and feet" in doing the loving scripture bunting for Joanne. I know Joanne through Beth Moore's blog, then reading Joanne's blog, and she and her husbands joint blog, but had never interfaced with her personally. I was blessed and encouraged by their faith from afar. As soon as Melissa let us know on LPM Blog, I have been on prayer watch for Joanne. Clearly it is a supernatural calling, as we pull together and "wait on the LORD" in faith believing for awesome miracles on her behalf. May I add this scripture that you have so kindly offered to type up and add to the bunting?

"Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for the LORD God is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation." Isaiah 12:2 NASB
