Beth came downstairs and proudly announced..."Toes! Toes!"
She had gotten my red nail polish off my bathroom counter, opened it and proceeded to give herself a mani-pedi.
I reluctantly carried her back up the stairs, dreading the nail polish spill on carpet.
Beth looks at me and says, " Tru-ble."
Me, "That's right you are not allowed to paint your toes without Mama."
Luckly, she didn't spill any on the carpet. Although yesterday I found some red smudges on the hallway walls.
That girl!
you must have much more patience and grace than I do!

I see she tried it as lipstick too. You lucked out by not having any on the carpet. Remember when you were in college and split polish on the carpet of the apartment? It sure is hard to clean up.

I love waking up to see a Beth Mess posting from you. Thank you for having the grace to share them with all of us who little ones are not so little anymore.

Looks familiar! My girls used permanent markers of every color and *painted* everything, their eyelids, lips, ears, fingers, toes, arms, legs... got some cute pics out of it though.
Enjoy the messes!
