WHAT IS SEW LOVELY?
It is a day-long retreat for beginner sewers. I say retreat, because we go all out: decor, fabulous food, party favors. It's a kid-free day to get your craft on.

WHO IS THE CLASS FOR?
Women who want to learn to sew. Or those who learned years ago and need a refresher.
WHAT EXACTLY DO WE LEARN?
Basic sewing terminology and skills. Basic operation of a sewing machine. How to follow a pattern, how to make a button hole....You will learn how to confidently run your sewing machine and you will complete three projects.

I am hoping to offer four classes in 2012.

HOW MUCH IS IT?
$200
WHAT DO I GET FOR MY $200?
You will walk away saying, "Why yes! I do sew." You will walk away with three completed projects, a binder with patterns and notes and the confidence to sew on your own. You will also get breakfast, snacks and a lunch, a day away with some other awesome women.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ATTENDING?
The class size is limited to eight attendees to allow for a one-on-one teaching and a very hands-on approach.
WHAT WILL WE MAKE?
An apron
A tote bag
A rice pillow (to warm/cool)
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?
You will need to bring as sewing machine, fabric and some sewing tools. A supply list will be provided once you are registered.
DO I HAVE TO OWN A SEWING MACHINE?
No, you do not have to own a sewing machine to take this class. I can provide a machine for you, but one of the hugest benefits of this class is we will teach you how to thread your needle, wind your bobbin and make a button hole using your machine. You will go home confident in how to make that machine hum. You can purchase a reasonable, quality machine for $150-200. Inquire if you want suggestions.
I AM FROM OUT OF STATE, CAN I STILL COME?
Absolutely! I can even assist you in travel arrangements.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Contact me using the email button on the sidebar with the desired class date and intent to enroll. I will email you a confirmation and my mailing address for your payment by check. Payment is due at time of registration to secure your spot. If for some reason you need to cancel your registration, your registration fee will be returned ONLY if i can fill your spot.
